MY GTBANK FASHION WEEKEND STYLE EDIT

Image
I was going to Lagos for the Gtbank Fashion weekend, so, I packed two outfits per day, knowing that Lagos wasn’t my turf and I would hate to not have options just in case I changed my mind. As expected, this was a little more work than it reads, especially because what we wear almost always represents our mood.

#GTBANKFASHIONWEEKEND: THROUGH MY 'EYE'PHONE!

I ask my uber driver to pump the gas since I have an early morning flight to catch. The weekend was a pretty exciting one, now it’s time to go back home to Abuja. After all the many activities, food, and visits, I can quietly settle back to write and take you through the weekend that was Guaranty Trust Bank’s.

LAYERING AND RE-STYLING YOUR WORK CLOTHES: SKIRTS OVER PANTS EDN

It’s been a journey, albeit a very slow one. Blogging isn’t a piece of cake, but I must admit that I haven't been as dedicated as I should be, hence still very far from where I want to be.  One of the reasons I don't post as much is I haven't been able to manage my time well to get dressed and take photos to upload.  That said, I thought I’d post this and not wait for better quality pictures, especially because I promised I would post more. Let’s hope we grow better at this - pictures and everything.

SAME OUTFIT, DIFFERENT LOOKS

I was going to be away from abuja for some time, and I always overpack when I’m traveling anywhere so much that I end up not wearing a lot of what I take with me. With that in mind, I zeroed in on how to pack my clothes for the holidays without packing so much.

HOW I STAY SLIM AND (HMMM...) FIT.

I get a lot of messages on instagram, whatsApp and facebook asking what I did to lose weight and how I stay fit. I also get some telling me;

FINALLY. A PERFECT FIT

Me to this beautiful feathery top: “How am I able to find a perfect fit for you and not for me?”

THAT ENTIRE WARDROBE I’LL RAID

I really don’t appreciate a “forced” style. This is when you MUST wear something for validation. It loses the essence of style for me. The “force!” It’s funny my friends and I called this “shan’t gree” in Uni. - Labisi A.
